Special releases: Rankins can organise dove or balloon releases. The symbolic beauty of a white dove being released is a moving finale to a funeral ceremony. The dove can represent the spirit being released and a journey to a new life. The symbolism of a balloon release is much the same, only with a more colourful flair. For a small child who loved balloons, Rankins could fill the back of the hearse with balloons and release them after the service.

RSL Services: To honour those who served, Rankins can conduct or help with RSL Services. Special touches may include a flag draped over the coffin, the Last Post, poppies, medals on display and more.

Transportation: In addition to a traditional hearse, Rankins provides the option for families to have their loved one carried on a Harley Davidson motorcycle hearse-perfect for someone who loved a touch of the wild side.

Photo Presentation: An on-screen presentation created with your photos and viewed during a funeral service can reflect on your loved one’s life and act as a unique keepsake. Photos can also be taken during the service and added later.

Recordings: Video and sound recordings tend to the needs of those who could not make it to the funeral. Plus they can serve as a cherished memory of the service.
